The “Around the World” quilt takes its name from the way the colours move outward in organised rings, starting from a central square and expanding evenly across the layout.
This pattern, with 91 squares, is a straightforward patchwork design, but the planned colour placement gives it strong visual clarity.
The quilt shown in the photo was made by Mandy in Chicago, who kindly shared her finished piece. She used LALIKUL’s Sweet Dreams (Beige & Cream) Charm Pack, though this layout works well with any LALIKUL charm pack thanks to its simple structure and balanced design.
This pattern is easy to sew and easy to adapt: adjust the colours, change the order, or keep it traditional. The layout always reads cleanly and looks intentional. It’s a simple build with a crisp, graphic result.
