The sashing with cornerstones pattern is a classic quilting technique that adds structure and visual rhythm to your quilt layout — especially when working with 5" fabric squares (also called charm packs).
We have 2 components:
Sashing: Strips of fabric sewn between blocks to separate them and create a grid-like effect.
Cornerstones: Small squares placed at the intersections of the sashing strips, adding pops of colour and anchoring the layout visually.
